Drop
charge numbers are a great way of selling services over
the telephone, without the hassle of having to collect money
from your customers. You can set the amount to charge the
caller from 5 pence per call, up to a maximum of £1.50
per call. Your charge to the caller is collected via their
telephone bill and passed over to us, no matter what company
your customer uses to make the call. We in turn pass a large
share of this money raised to you in the form of call revenue
share each month.
Drop
charge numbers are ubiquitous and are understood by consumers
as a simple way of paying for services. They are used in
conjunction with TV competitions and voting lines, horoscope
and tipster services – the list of opportunities is
endless.
Services
that use drop charge numbers have a maximum duration of
60 seconds. Please bear this in mind when deciding whether

services can I have?
By
far the most common use of drop charge numbers is for the
provision of voting lines or competition lines. We offer
of these services and our drop charge numbers come with
online statistics that can be accessed instantly for those
who need to operate these services in a ‘live’
environment.

How
do I order a number?
Our
drop charge have a one-off connection fee, payable in advance
to cover the cost of service set up. The renewal fee is
paid annually, with the first renewal payment due one year
from the date the number is first provisioned.

Requirements
The
premium rate industry is governed by PhonepayPlus, the body responsible
for regulating premium rate services within the UK. PhonepayPlus
have issued a code of practice that must be adhered to by
